The Upwell Consortium has introduced a number of structures for Capsuleers, often referred to as "Citadels". While all Upwell structures ultimately handle identically when it comes to set up, management and vulnerability, the differrent structure types focus on specific tasks by providing bonuses to aid their effectiveness. Independently of that, most Standup Modules and Modifications are usable on all structures that match the required structure size.
Only Standup-Fighter variants can be loaded into the fighter launch tubes of Upwell Structures.

Upwell FLEX Structures
FLEX structures are very specialised structures, fulfilling a very narrow and specialised set of roles. They are extremely quick to deploy or decomission, and also easier to destroy as they offer no Armor Reinforced timer. FLEX structures do not offer docking capabilities at all and can not be fitted, the service module for their function is integrated with the structure. The FLEX structures can be boarded like another ship in order to set them up and online them.
Otherwise, they function like other Upwell Structures and their services are also controlled through Structure Profiles and Access Lists.
