Updating EVE Online

Updating EVE Online should be automatic after opening the EVE Online launcher. You may see a progress bar at the bottom of the launcher: 

If there is a patch and your launcher does not automatically update your shared cache files, you can verify the integrity of these files by using the Verify Game Files button in the Tools / Cache Options.


Verifying the SharedCache files 

Windows and macOS

  • Start the launcher. 
  • Open the Launcher menu by clicking on the Cogwheel icon at the top right and select the Tools / Cache option. 
  • Click on Verify Game Files.
