Creating an EVE Account via Steam

EVE Online supports account creation and login through Steam. This allows you to link your Steam profile to EVE and access the game seamlessly. Follow the steps below to set up your account.

Step 1: Launch EVE Online from Steam

1. Open the Steam client.

2. Search for EVE Online in your Library (or download it for free if you haven’t already).

3. Click Play to start the EVE Online Launcher.

Step 2: Sign In with Steam

1. In the EVE Launcher, select Log in with Steam.

2. A Steam login window will open (if you aren’t already signed in to Steam).

3. Enter your Steam account details.

Step 3: Create Your EVE Account

1. Once authenticated, the launcher will prompt you to create a new EVE account linked to your Steam profile.

2. Choose your desired in-game character name.

3. Confirm the setup.

Step 4: Start Playing

• After linking your Steam and EVE accounts, you can log in with just your Steam credentials.

• Launch the game and begin creating your character.

Important Notes

• One Steam account = One EVE account. If you wish to create additional EVE accounts, you’ll need a separate Steam profile or create an account directly via the EVE Online website.

• Linking is permanent – once your EVE account is tied to Steam, it cannot be unlinked.

• You can still use the EVE Launcher directly, but your login will always go through Steam.
