If you’ve purchased Omega time or PLEX through Steam but it hasn’t appeared in your EVE Online account, don’t worry — this guide will help you identify the issue and take the correct steps to resolve it.
Step 1: Confirm the Purchase Completed in Steam
Before troubleshooting in EVE, make sure your Steam transaction actually completed.
To verify your purchase:
Open the Steam client.
Click your profile name in the top-right corner → select Account details.
In the left pane, ensure Account details is selected.
Under Store & Purchase History, click View purchase history.
-
Find your EVE Online transaction.
If the status shows Pending or Failed, the payment did not complete.
If it shows Completed, continue to Step 2.
Step 2: Verify You’re Logged Into the Correct Steam-Linked EVE Account
All purchases made through Steam are applied only to the EVE Online account created/linked via that same Steam account.
They cannot be transferred to, or shared with, other EVE accounts.
To confirm you’re on the right account:
Launch EVE Online through Steam.
In the EVE Launcher, check that the account name listed under “EVE Online” is the Steam-linked account you normally use.
If you have additional standalone EVE accounts, note that Steam purchases will not appear there.
Tip: If you created a username/password for your Steam-linked account, you can also log in via the standalone launcher to confirm delivery.
See: How to Run EVE Without Steam (Standalone Mode).
Step 3: Check PLEX Vault and Omega Status In-Game
PLEX → Found in your PLEX Vault (open Inventory → PLEX Vault tab).
Omega → Displayed in your Character Sheet located at the top-left corner of your screen.
If you don’t see your items:
Log out and back in.
Double-check that you’re on the correct Steam-linked account (see Step 2).
Step 4: Allow Time for Delivery
Steam transactions can take a few minutes to process. Wait up to 30 minutes before assuming a delivery failure.
If the Omega or PLEX still hasn’t appeared after that, continue to Step 5.
Step 5: Contact Support
If all checks are complete and your purchase still hasn’t appeared, please submit a support ticket.
To do this:
Visit the EVE Online Support Center.
Choose Billing & Account → Steam Purchases.
-
Include:
The Steam Transaction ID (from your Steam receipt email or purchase history).
The date/time of purchase.
A short description of the item purchased (e.g., “3 months Omega”, “500 PLEX”).
Important:
CCP cannot refund or move purchases between accounts — Steam purchases apply only to the linked Steam account.
Refund requests must be handled through Steam.
