Steam players can conveniently purchase PLEX using their Steam Wallet. This guide explains how the process works, where the PLEX goes, and what to expect after purchase.
Purchasing through the Steam Store
Step 1: Head to the EVE Online page of the Steam Store
Open your Steam client.
Locate EVE Online in the Steam Store.
Step 2: Choose the Omega time you want
On the store page, browse the selection of PLEX packages.
Step 3: Purchase with Steam Wallet
Once you have made your choice, proceed to the checkout page where you will be able to use your Steam Wallet to complete the transaction.
Step 4: Confirm PLEX Addition
After payment, your account will automatically be granted the PLEX you purchased.
You can verify this by launching EVE and checking your account’s PLEX Vault and the amount of PLEX within it.
Purchasing In-Game with the Steam Wallet
Step 1: Open your PLEX Vault
While in-game, click the PLEX Vault button on your Neocom.
Then click Buy PLEX.
Step 2: Select PLEX Package
You will be redirected to the EVE Webstore where you may select the amount of PLEX you would like to purchase.
Once you have made your choice, clicking on the PLEX package will redirect you to that package’s store page.
Step 3: Choose Steam Wallet as the Payment Method
On the Checkout page, scroll down and click the “Want to use another payment option?” menu.
Choose the Steam Wallet option and then click Next.
You will be redirected to the Steam Checkout page to complete the purchase.
Step 4: Complete the Purchase on Steam
On the Steam Checkout page, click Authorize.
The payment will then be made using your Steam Wallet and the PLEX will be added to your account.
Step 5: Confirm PLEX Addition
After payment, your account will automatically be granted the PLEX you purchased.
You can verify this by launching EVE and checking your account’s PLEX Vault and the amount of PLEX within it.
